Lilian Thuram is France's most capped player of all time and he was part of Les Bleus' winning squad at both the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000.
The 34-year-old is still a vital member of Raymond Domenech's side and he featured in every one of France's qualifying games for this tournament.
Currently playing for Primera Liga giants Barcelona, where he is out-of-contract in the summer, Thuram has already stated his intention to carrying on playing next season.
And he has been linked with a move to Arsenal; however his personal advisor has played down the prospect of the defender moving to the Premier League, and the player himself has indicated he wants to stay in Spain.
This will almost certainly be Thuram's final international tournament and he will be desperate to end his successful career with France by lifting some more silverware.
