Mandanda is a surprise choice in France's squad for Euro 2008 after only making his international debut against Ecuador on May 27.
He is expected to be Les Bleus' third choice goalkeeper for this summer's tournament and will have to be content waiting behind Gregory Coupet and Sebastien Frey for a chance in Raymond Domenech's first XI.
The 23-year-old has enjoyed an impressive season with Marseille and helped OM to third place in Ligue 1.
He moved to the Stade Velodrome from Le Harve last summer, however, prior to that switch, he had a trial at Aston Villa.
Mandanda's brother, Parfait, is also a promising keeper and he currently plays for Bordeaux's second team.
